Tips for a quick startup
I had never read a computer magazine article (the magazine's name forgotten), one of the ways that computer startup is so quick to delete all *. pf files in the directory is C: \ Windows \ Prefetch (for Windows XP). so each would turn the computer, always remove the first all *. pf files in C: \ Windows \ Prefetch so that later klo turn ON the computer, its startup so fast.
ok, no way that we ga have to delete the file first before the shutdown, ie disable Prefetch. how to edit the windows registry.
first open regedit (start menu »Run, then type regedit, and press OK). then go to the address HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SYSTEM - ControlSet001 - Control - Session Manager - Memory Management - PrefetchParameters. change the registry value to valuename EnablePrefetcher be 0. default value valuename EnablePrefetcher is 1 (1 means enabled). by changing the value to 0 (in binary 0 is the negation of 1), means we have to disable Prefetch in the window.
